Teachings, established in Beverwijk and registered with the Chamber of Commerce under number 34350537, attaches importance to the protection of personal data. This privacy statement explains how Teachings with information about an identified or identifiable natural person as referred to in the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

This privacy statement applies to the following categories of natural persons of whom Teachings processes personal data:

b. visitors to the practice of Teachings;
c. visitors to www.teachings.nl;
d. participants in Teachings meetings;
e. applicants;
f. all other persons who contact Teachings or whose Teachings processes personal data, with the exception of its employees. - Processing of personal data
Teachings processes personal data that:
a. a person concerned personally (during a discussion or meeting), by telephone, or
digitally (via email or web forms on the website), such as contact details or other personal data;
b. may be requested from other care providers with the consent of the person concerned or referrers; - Processing purposes
Teachings processes personal data for the following purposes:
a. the performance of a medical treatment agreement and the declaration for performed activities;
b. maintaining contact, through invitations to meetings and information where a
the person concerned has asked for it;
c. improving the practice website www.teachings.nl; - Legal basis
Teachings processes personal data on the basis of one of the following legal grounds:
a. consent of the data subject. This consent can be withdrawn at any time, without
that this affects the lawfulness of processing based on consent before the withdrawal;
b. execution of -or with a view to- concluding a medical treatment agreement,
including the declaration to third parties, such as the health insurance company, etc.;
c. a legal obligation, such as, for example, the obligation to update a medical file

Teachings can use service providers (processors) to process personal data, who only process personal data in accordance with the instructions of Teachings.

b. (financial) administrative data: 7 years after recording the data;
c. data of employees and self-employed persons, other than (financial) administrative data:
5 years after leaving employment or after the end of the contract for services;
d. data of applicants: 6 months after completion of the application procedure;
e. visitors to the website: 5 years after the last visit to the website, unless objected earlier is made, in which case destruction will take place. - Privacy statement changes
Teachings can change this privacy statement at any time. An up-to-date version of the privacy statement is published on the Teachings website. It is wise to read this privacy statement regularly so that you are aware of any changes. - Rights, questions and complaints
